Swift Communications Official Spam and Bulk E-mail Policy
Swift
Communications does not tolerate or permit any form of illegal spam or
mass unsolicited e-mail distribution. However, some costumers have legitimate
e-mail lists, and distribution services. These services must adhere to
the following rules:
- All customers must sign the Swiftco Bulk E-Mail Agreement before commencing operations on any e-mail lists or distribution services or face immediate suspension and possible account termination. To view this document, CLICK HERE.
- Any customer receiving an average of 10 spam complaints a day in any
given week or 50 complaints in any given day may be subject to a fine
of $300 USD and/or immediate account termination, without refund of
current payments.
- All customers will be fined $1.00 USD for each unique spam complaint
against them. These fines must be paid in full on a weekly basis; failure
of payment could lead to account termination, without refund of current
payments.
- All customers are required to fill out an official weekly form describing
the details of all complaints received in that period. For each complaint
the following information must be present on the form:
a. E-mail address of the individual that filled
the complaint (hence forth know as the 'victim')
b. The name of the website the victim's e-mail address was obtained
from.
c. The victim's IP address
d. The date of the complaint
- Any customer who fails to comply with all of these rules, or who submits
fraudulent information in their weekly report is subject to further
fines or termination of services at Swift Communications' discretion.
If a customer's account is terminated because of a violation of these
rules and that customer wishes to reactivate their account, they will
be required to pay a one-time $500 USD reactivation service charge.
